Treatment of bone cancer depends on the types of bone cancer, how far it has spread, age of patient and health of patient. There are two types of treatment for bone cancer.

Surgery:
It is most common treatment for the bone cancer. The types of the surgery depends on the how far the cancer has spread and location of the cancer. In the past, deletion of bone cancer was possible in an arm or leg. Now bone replacement is possible with artificial bone ( prosthesis) or healthy bone of another parson(transplant) in any part of the body.
Non-surgical treatments:
Chemotherapy:
In this treatment doctor uses a drug to kill the cancerous cell. This treatment have some side effects such as patient has loss hair, sickness, feel tired. It is specially used to treat the Ewing’s sarcoma, but can treat the other types of bone cancer. Drug are usually injected into a vein but sometimes given in tablets. Chemotherapy is also used before the surgery or after the surgery to make it easier and stop the spread of cancerous cells.
Radiotherapy:
Radiotherapy is also known as X-Rays therapy. In this treatment doctor uses a radiation (X-rays or gama rays) to kill the cancerous cells. Radiation also affect the healtyh cells with cancer cells. Healty cells will recover after the radiation. A beam of radiation is targeted on the affectecd oragan and surrounding. Radiotherapy uses before surgery to make it easy and after surgery to prevent it
