Mouth Cancer Diagnosis:

If a person have any symptom of oral cancer that suggest to concern a dentist or surgeon. Surgeon will check all parts of the mouth, If any abnormality is found in oral cavity, surgeon will suggest for a biopsy. In the biopsy test doctor remove a small sample of tissue from oral cavity and send to pathologist for check the cancer cells under the microscope. Biopsy will give the confirm result that abnormal area are cancerous or not. Oral Cancer are diagnosed by using the following test:

Staging: If the cancerous cells found in the biopsy doctor will conduct the test to know the stage and size of tumour for a best tretment. Staging require a lab test and it also involve a endoscopy. Doctor insert a endoscope through the nose or mouth to check the lungs, windpipe and throat. Doctor may use a local anesthesia while endoscopy. Doctor may requre some more test to check that how much oral cancer has spread are as follows:

• Dental X-Rays: To check that cancer has spread in jaw or not, doctor perform a dental x-rays.

• Chest X-Rays: Doctor check the cancer cells in chest and lungs.

• CT scan: In CT scan doctor see the picture on computer screen to check the cancer cells.

• MRI: MRI is used to see the detail picture of body. In this test a magnet links to a computer screen to show the picture of body. Doctor may print this picture on film
